Become part of the Geoportale
The Geoportal of Food Culture was conceived and developed thanks to the participation of organisations, associations and foundations from all over Italy. Thanks to their broad-reaching action, their ability to collect, preserve, map and share knowledge and traditions, the Geoportal databases provide visitors with a collective story of the specific identity of each territory in terms of food culture. Participating in the Geoportal means building a common, lively and renewed narrative of this heritage, giving value to places, traditions and knowledge from every region in Italy.
How to take part
If you are a public or private body, an association, a community or a private individual and you would like to tell us about any heritage, elements and knowledge that can help to enrich the GeCA and to the knowledge of Italian food culture, you can write to the Geoportal.
